Chelsea, Dakota and I met for the first time capturing their “holiday card” photos. Although it turned out to be so misty and cold that day, we made the best out of our time together running around the beach with their two cute doggos! We bonded over how we were all raised out-of-state but how San Diego is the best city to live in. A few months later, I was scrolling on Instagram when I saw that they got ENGAGED!!! I literally gasped because I was just thinking of them just a few days prior, wondering when Dakota was going to pop the question. Of course I congratulated them on their engagement because I am just as invested in my client’s lives as my own LOL!
When Chelsea reached back out to me to shoot their engagement session I was SO excited. We went back to the same location as before, Sunset Cliffs, but this time, the SUN came out for us! It was one of the most stunning sessions I’ve ever had at this location and such a special one for the three of us. They are now in the books for one of my 2024 wedding couples and I could not be more excited to be the one documenting their special day.
Moral of the story is – If you want the most stunning engagement photos in a place that sums up San Diego’s beauty in one photo, Sunset Cliffs is the place to be.
