Annika’s maternity session was one of those afternoons that felt simple and really special. We wandered into this huge field of yellow flowers, where the sun was glowing and everything felt so serene.
It was just Annika, soaking in this season of waiting for her first baby boy. There was something really peaceful about documenting her on her own, surrounded by all that color and open space. We took our time moving through the field, letting the moment unfold naturally, and the whole session felt relaxed and effortless.
I love maternity sessions like this because they capture such a specific chapter of life. There’s excitement and anticipation, but also this calm before everything changes. Getting to freeze a small part of that for Annika was an honor, and it was such a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing women’s journey into motherhood.
