Some sessions feel full circle, and this was one of them!

I first photographed Angela and Marcus back in 2022 for their proposal. It was one of those shoots that sticks with you – the kind where everything just felt easy and genuine. So getting the message that they were expecting, and wanted me to document this next chapter, meant so much!!

This time around felt different in the best way. Slower, more grounded. There was no anticipation like a proposal, just a quiet excitement, the kind that comes with knowing your life is about to change in a big way. For me, it was also a reminder of how much my work has grown since 2022. Looking back at their proposal photos and then shooting this session, I could feel the difference, not just in style, but in how I see and capture moments now.

More than anything, this shoot was about connection. Picking up where we left off, documenting a completely new chapter, and being trusted to do it again. That doesn’t happen all the time, and it’s something I really value. From a proposal to their first baby, it’s been pretty incredible to witness even a small part of their story <3
